The Perfect Day

I love writing down how a perfect day would look like for me. I ask myself, “what if I didn’t have to work?” or “what if money wasn’t an issue?” or “what would a perfect day be like for me”.

Then I go ahead and start writing how a day would look like with these questions in mind.

At first, my real days didn’t look much like my dream days. But every time I do the exercise, I come closer to live my perfect day.

Some of the things I wrote a while back, and that are a reality now, were:

  • Wake-up to the sound of birds.
  • Go for a walk with my dog every morning.
  • Exercise everyday.
  • Take some time to connect with the precious people in my life and tell them how much I love them, and how important they are to me.
  • Play.

What would a perfect day look like for you?

  1. You know that a perfect day would find us in bed, sharing ourselves with each other and pleasing each other with our mouths and tongues ❤️

  2. I would wake up to birds singing and a loving wife next to me. It will be sunny and 77 degrees with a light breeze. I thank my Higher Power for the new day and ask Him to watch over me. I think of others that need help and actively reach out to them as I sip my first cup of coffee. Once I have showered I kiss my bride of 43 years and leave to spend some time volunteering at an assisted living home. Afterwards I spend some ME time doing what I enjoy. This could be exercising, going to the range, a long walk someplace new, or just sitting back and enjoying nature. A nice dinner with my wife and then a quiet evening around the house continuing to reach out to others needing help. It is important to also be grateful for what my Higher Power has put in my life. Then after wearing myself out, I crawl into bed for a bit of snuggling before falling asleep.

Of course this will change a bit tomorrow when our new puppy arrives.

  3. To me there is no perfect day or imperfect day. I accept the day as it is and myself as I am. Because of no expectations I am not affected how life turns out to be. This makes me accept others the way they…even if I disagree with them.

  4. Miles of winding hills and deep blue sea as far as we can see.
Eye contact and smiles from the beautiful woman I love.
A fast car to take us to lunch. Magic moments of closeness throughout the day.
Delicious food and a dry champagne.
    Fantastic views.
    Acceleration, wind and speed.
    Hand holding and hugs.
    Kisses then kissing.
    Cherishing each other.
    Praying for blessings.
    Together.

    1. Is this your actual day or your dream day? If it’s your dream day, how close to your current reality is it? What could you do to make reality just a little closer to your dream day?

      With love xx
